Winkapoe Lodge Description
Wink-a-poe Lodge ("good friend" in Algonquin), is a magnificent warm and inviting Adirondack style home situated at the prestigious Whiteface Club & Resort featuring two car garage, three levels of living, fine Adirondack appointments and many popular amenities. The main level of Winkapoe features a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, a comfortable dining area, two story great room with wood-burning field stone fireplace, TV room/den, a 3/4 bath as well as a powder room. A large back deck offers outdoor dining opportunities and privacy while the three season enclosed porch with comfortable seating and a wood burning fireplace is a perfect place to relax and settle with a book or a cocktail after a long day of excursions. Upstairs, Winkapoe features a sitting area, grand master bedroom suite with whirlpool tub and large walk in shower. The second upstairs bedroom offers a double bed bunk and twin bunks (sleeps 5). Adjacent to the 2nd bedroom is a full bath and washer & dryer closet. In addition to two additional bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths, the lower level of Winkapoe provides many entertainment opportunities to include a pool table, a sitting area with flat screen tv, wet bar, and a comfortable family room with wood burning fireplace and large flat screen TV. The patio features an outdoor hot tub, sauna and small portable firepit.
